Stunning restaurant with great food, music and design ⭐️ Went for a drink on the outside patio and stayed for the Lemon Caviar Pasta special! The DJ was playing great music and the service was super friendly The people watching is great as you are in the courtyard of the design district.
One of my favorite restaurants in Miami!! I had my birthday lunch with friends at Sofia and it was beyond perfect. With Sofia, you get it all, a beautiful restaurant, amazing food and drinks and the most attentive staff. If you’re in Miami, Sofia’s is a must.
From start to finish, everything about this place was incredible. The service was top-notch — my server, Orlando, was absolutely amazing. He was attentive, friendly, and made the whole dining experience even better. The atmosphere was vibrant yet comfortable, with the perfect balance of energy and relaxation. It’s the kind of place that feels special but still welcoming. The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite felt thoughtfully prepared, and the presentation made it even more enjoyable. It’s the kind of menu where you know you can’t go wrong no matter what you order. Between the outstanding service, the wonderful atmosphere, and the unforgettable food, this restaurant has truly earned a spot in my top 10 favorites in Miami. I can’t wait to return!
What a fantastic evening at Sofia! The setting is beautiful — modern, stylish and warm — perfect for a chic night out in Miami. The food really delivers: The staff treated us like VIPs, attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for a special dinner in the Design District
Loved our dinner here! We had Alessandro as our server and his service was excellent. We ordered the burrata, spicy rigatoni, and cacio e pepe. The pastas are some of the best I’ve tried in Miami! We absolutely will be back

We are diners of top restaurants all over the world, and this easily ranks among our best experiences internationally. From start to finish, Salvatore was attentive, knowledgeable, warm, and perfectly intuitive to our needs without ever being intrusive. His care, timing, and attention to detail elevated an already outstanding meal into something genuinely special. The food itself was absolutely incredible — beautifully prepared, perfectly balanced, and unforgettable — but it was Salvatore’s service that made the entire evening feel effortless and elevated. This was not just a great dinner, but a world-class dining experience, and Salvatore played a huge role in making it so. We can’t wait to return.
I usually come to Design District and had an eye on Sofia. We came one night and it was empty outside and we worried that the place wasn’t going to deliver but actually it was raining. We were positively surprised with amazing food, Giuseppe’s attention which was the best ! He truly made a difference and everyone that provided service was so so kind: very nice place. Don’t hesitate to try it
I cannot emphasize how awesome this place is. I am a regular and have done group dinners/ bar dinners/ solo dinners/ cocktail hours and have been treated with the upmost respect by everyone. The pasta dishes are cooked perfectly and basically the closest I’ve tried to authentic Italian. Bread basket? Forget about it (chefs kiss). Branzino, Veal Milanese and Lamb Chops have been my favorite proteins here.
Amazing service from Vini. He was a pleasure. He was super personable with great customer service which is rare to find these days. Sofia is great for a date, birthday dinner or a special occasion. Ambiance is pink, artsy and cozy chic. The food was good but I gave 4 stars because C of the cocktails. Too sweet in my personal Preference but overall good!
